Klosters Capital has hired Raúl Zubillaga, the former head of advisory solutions for Santander Private Bank, as its CIO.

Raúl Zubillaga, the former head of advisory solutions at Santander Private Bank, has joined multi-family office Klosters Capital.

Zubillaga left Santander Private Bank in April and joined the Miami-based advisory firm this month as its chief investment officer (CIO). In his new role, Zubillaga will manage its model portfolios and oversee its fund selection process and third-party bank mandates, the firm told Citywire Americas in a statement.

Klosters Capital is led by Javier Rodriguez Amblés, who set up the wealth firm in 2016 after leaving Andbank Wealth Management in Miami, and as of the end of April had $270m in assets under management, according to its latest Form ADV filing.
